Today the world is filled with media. It is everywhere you go, from T.V to Magazines to Advertising products. The youth of today are always seeing money, jewerly, cars, clothes and more, and they are taught to think that it's the only way to be popular or successful. Media is a tool used to store and deliver information to others. When it comes to media, it will always be entertaining. Media will bring us websites, t.v shows, gossip, and many more. The media sells a lot of products but it's up to viewers to know what to believe and what not to believe. The media comes out with something new everyday, from someone's problems, to what someone was wearing. Some consequences to being an uncritical consumer to media is, you will start to belive what you read, and what you read is not always right. Facebook and twitter are good examples of uncritical media they allow you to see into other peoples personal life.

Codes and Conventions: patterns and trends that you can find in specific genres. Familiar and predictable. Communicates certain ideas and conveys a meaning.
Stereotypes: Is when a person or a group of people who think one way of a different race, religion, or group, because thay don't know the meaning behind them.
